This position serves as a Student Trainee (Logistics Management) for U.S. Army Security Assistance Command located at Redstone Arsenal, AL. This position may be non-competitively converted to competitive service after completion of program.
Pathways Internship positions provide for development and training. Assignments become more responsible as incumbent increases knowledge and skills through work experience and academic training. At the full-performance level, you will be expected to:
Monitor and assist in the management of foreign military sales (FMS) cases for development and/or execution.
Assist with meeting preparation, including briefing charts, minutes, trackers, and all administrative duties associated with international engagements.
Provide administrative assistance on special projects such as data collection, program projections, and research and evaluation of data.
Input required data, track case progress, document status using approved tracking methods, maintain proper filing of all documentation, and coordinate follow-on tasks with team leaders.
