Key Responsibilities:
1. Styling & On-Air Appearance
- Develop appropriate styling and wardrobe concepts for presenters, anchors, correspondents, and on-screen contributors.
- Select and coordinate clothing, accessories, footwear, and other wardrobe elements suitable for television and digital productions.
- Ensure styling is appropriate for the program format, editorial context, audience, location, and occasion.
- Maintain consistency with Asharq’s visual identity and professional standards.
- Provide styling recommendations based on current fashion trends while maintaining a sophisticated and newsroom-appropriate appearance.
- Ensure wardrobe choices are suitable for studio lighting, cameras, and different production environments.
2. Talent & Guest Styling
- Work directly with presenters, anchors, correspondents, and guests to understand their requirements and provide appropriate styling guidance.
- Conduct wardrobe consultations and fittings ahead of major programs, interviews, special coverage, and events.
- Advise talent on appropriate colors, fabrics, patterns, accessories, and overall presentation for television.
- Support last-minute styling requirements and wardrobe changes during live and recorded productions.
- Maintain a professional and respectful relationship with on-air talent and guests.
3. Production Support
- Coordinate with Production teams to understand upcoming programming, shoots, special coverage, and events requiring styling support.
- Review production schedules and prepare wardrobe requirements in advance.
- Attend key productions, live broadcasts, shoots, and special events where styling support is required.
- Coordinate with Makeup & Hair teams to ensure the overall appearance is cohesive.
- Work with photographers, videographers, producers, and other production personnel when required.
4. Wardrobe Management
- Maintain an organized wardrobe inventory covering available clothing, accessories, and styling items.
- Track wardrobe items used by different presenters and productions.
- Ensure all wardrobe items are properly maintained, cleaned, stored, and returned after use.
- Coordinate wardrobe purchases, rentals, alterations, tailoring, and returns when required.
- Maintain records of wardrobe-related expenses and ensure spending remains within approved budgets.
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant fashion brands, designers, retailers, and suppliers in Saudi Arabia and the region.
5. Special Events & Editorial Coverage
- Provide styling support for conferences, interviews, red-carpet events, corporate events, special broadcasts, and other high-profile productions.
- Develop appropriate looks for major editorial occasions and special programming.
- Support field teams where styling requirements are needed outside the studio environment.
- Ensure styling remains practical and appropriate for outdoor, travel, and field assignments.
6. Brand & Cultural Awareness
- Ensure all styling decisions are aligned with Asharq’s corporate and on-air image.
- Demonstrate strong awareness of Saudi and regional cultural norms and expectations.
- Ensure wardrobe selections are appropriate for the Saudi audience and the diverse markets served by Asharq.
- Maintain awareness of regional and international fashion trends and their relevance to broadcast media.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fashion Styling, Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Image Consulting, or a related field is preferred.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in styling, preferably within television, broadcasting, media, entertainment, fashion, or a similar environment.
- Experience styling television presenters, anchors, celebrities, executives, or public-facing talent is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of fashion, wardrobe coordination, colour theory, fabrics, accessories, and current fashion trends.
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of the Saudi and regional fashion markets is preferred.
- Existing relationships with fashion brands, designers, boutiques, retailers, and suppliers would be an advantage.

Familiarity with digital fashion and styling platforms is an advantage.
