Subject Matter Expert
As an SME at Rishihood University, you will be the technical backbone for our students, moving beyond basic teaching to driving real-world engineering outcomes. You will mentor students through complex capstone projects and prepare them for elite global platforms like open-source competitions and hackathons.
Key Responsibilities
Capstone Project Leadership: Guide students through the complete lifecycle of their final year projects—from architectural design and tech-stack selection to deployment and scaling.
Competition Coaching: Mentor and prepare students for prestigious open-source contributions (GSoC, LFX) and national/international coding competitions.
Curriculum & Lab Delivery: Conduct specialized sessions on System Design, Distributed Systems, and Advanced Web Development.
Hands-on Debugging: Provide high-level technical support, helping students resolve complex architectural bottlenecks and performance issues.
Innovation & Research: Encourage students to contribute to open-source repositories and experiment with emerging technologies like AI and Cloud-native tools.
Operations & Collaboration: Manage batch operations and partner with faculty to ensure the curriculum remains placement-driven.
Technical Requirements & Qualifications
Advanced Python & ML: Mastery of Advanced Python libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and core Machine Learning concepts.
Advanced Web Development: Proficiency in modern Full Stack frameworks (e.g., MERN, Next.js) and building scalable, responsive web applications.
CS Foundations: Solid mastery of Data Structures, Algorithms (DSA), and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Core Engineering: In-depth knowledge of Computer Fundamentals, Computer Architecture, and Operating Systems (OS).
Database Management: Expert understanding of RDBMS (SQL, schema design, and query optimization).
Note: Candidates must demonstrate high proficiency in at least any three of the technical skill areas listed above.
Good to Have
Experience in corporate training, bootcamps, or architecting large-scale systems.
Cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP) or distributed computing.
Active Open-Source contributions or a technical blog/portfolio.
Key Competencies
Analytical Mindset: High-level problem-solving and architectural thinking.
Bridge Builder: Ability to connect academic theory with professional engineering standards.
Inspirational Leadership: Passion for motivating students toward technical innovation.
