Substitute / Guest Teacher

Location: Marian High School (All-Girls Catholic High School), Bloomfield Hills.

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated substitute teachers at our all-girls Catholic high school. The ideal candidate will be experienced and passionate about working with high school students, and committed to fostering a student-centered, positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction following the teacher-provided lesson plans.
• Maintain classroom management and create a respectful, supportive atmosphere.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to support student success.

Qualifications

• Teaching credentials and/or relevant experience working in a high school setting - strongly preferred
• Commitment to the values and mission of an all-girls Catholic educational environment
• Ability to manage a classroom and engage learners with intentionality, through positive strategies and proactive procedures.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
