Substitute Paraprofessional 2026-2027 School Year

Per Diem Substitute Paraprofessional Rate:

$18.00 per hour

Qualifications:

• Passed Praxis
• Associate's degree, 60 college credits, or a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
• Experience working with children with disabilities is strongly preferred.
• Ability to remain patient, calm, and positive in a fast-paced school environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow teacher directions and district protocols.
• Ability to lift, move or support student physical needs as required.
