Substitute Teacher

St. Anne Catholic School is seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and caring Substitute Teachers to join our school community for the 2026-2027 school year.

Substitute teachers play an important role in ensuring continuity of instruction and supporting a positive learning environment when regular classroom teachers are absent. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and desire a flexible work schedule.

This position works on an as-needed basis, offering flexibility for retirees, college graduates, parents, education majors, and others interested in supporting Catholic education.

Responsibilities:

• Implement teacher lesson plans and classroom activities as provided.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and productive learning environment.
• Supervise students and support classroom management expectations.
• Encourage student engagement and participation in learning activities.
• Communicate effectively with faculty and school staff regarding classroom needs.
• Uphold school policies and procedures while fostering respectful student behavior.
• Serve as a positive role model and support the mission and values of St. Anne Catholic School.

• Have experience working with children in educational, childcare, youth ministry, or related settings.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be dependable, professional, and adaptable.
• Support and embrace the mission of St. Anne Catholic School and Catholic education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• Previous teaching, tutoring, coaching, or substitute teaching experience.
• Experience working in a school or classroom setting.
