Imagine Early Learning Centers seeks a Substitute Teacher at The Little Apple. The Little Apple, Imagine’s 14th center, is opening in partnership with The City of New York as the first-ever, free child care program specifically created for municipal employees. Our center is a safe, nurturing, fun and friendly environment. We are seeking an experienced and creative professional looking to join a team providing the highest quality, educational childcare for working families.

Responsibilities include:

• Participate in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.

• Ensure compliance with licensing and NAEYC guidelines.
  
  

• Effective communication with families, staff and board.
  
  

• Effective written communication skills.
  
  

• Ability to meet physical requirements of position which include lifting children, pushing strollers/buggies, sitting on the floor and year-round daily outdoor activities.
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or minimum of CDA preferred

• Experience with young children preferred
