Description of Position: The substitute is assigned to work in the absence of a regular employee to aid the department or school he/she is assigned. Work is performed under the supervision of the department head or principal.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Food Service, Clerical, Teacher Assistant High School Diploma or equivalent Bus Driver High School Diploma or equivalent Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsment Teacher Valid Mississippi educator's license OR (4) four-year college degree OR Be enrolled as a junior or senior in college majoring in education or in an academic area related to the area of the vacancy PAY SCALES Food Service Worker: $9.00/Hr Clerical: $12/Hr ($15/Hr for Retired Employees) Bus Driver: $18/Hr Teacher Assistant: $100/Day Teacher (Currently Enrolled): $125/Day Teacher (College Degree): $140/Day Teacher (Certified): $150/Day Long-term Substitute Teacher: $160/Day
