Principal Function
The Suite Sales Intern assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Suite Sales department. This person will help provide accurate leads, sales tracking, various office tasks, and exceptional customer service to both existing and prospective clients.
Summary of Duties and Functions
Respond promptly to customer service calls and emails in writing or over the telephone.
Assist with lead generation/lead research.
Assist with sales and service tracking in Microsoft CRM.
Assist the suite service team with various projects.
Prepare sales documents for clients.
Assist with day-to-day administrative needs.
Be capable of touring prospects, if needed.
Assist with client hospitality on game days and other events.
Daily computer work, PowerPoint documents, spreadsheets, etc.
Other duties as assigned by the Director, Suite Sales & Service.
The position will be from August 2024 – January 2025. This is a paid internship.
Qualifications:
Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
The position will be from August 2024 - January 2025.
Able to commit up to 30 hours a week for the duration of the internship
Undergraduate or graduate student in Sport Management or a related field preferred
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) preferred
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally
Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure
Able to work well within a team environment, offer assistance, and support to team members whenever necessary
Previous experience coordinating events/Suites preferred.
Able to sit, stand, walk, for extended periods of time (8 hours or more)
Able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
