About the Role:
The OPIS Commercial Strategy function provides the OPIS business with actionable insight-based and data-driven licensing methodologies, recommendations, and best practices, enabling better go-to-market planning, value-based insights, and commercial success. The internship will be within the OPIS Sales Business Unit.
The OPIS Commercial Strategy Analyst Intern role will help the team drive strategic data initiatives that enable analysis on customer behaviour, commercial efficiency, revenue growth, product development, and operational excellence across the OPIS group.
This internship is designed for an aspiring analyst to gain hands-on experience within a commercial strategy function, supporting the OPIS Commercial Excellence programme to deliver profitable and sustainable growth.
You Will:
Research and Analysis: Conduct initial data analysis to help identify business opportunities and potential challenges, and contribute to developing actionable insights.
OPIS Centralisation: Assist the Commercial Strategy team with efforts to centralise existing usage statistics, sales insights, sales practices, and customer engagement policies across all OPIS divisions.
Reporting: Work with the relevant teams to streamline commercial reporting.
White Space & Addressable Market: Support Product Managers in identifying white space opportunities and sizing the total addressable market. Help develop a centralised whitespace repository.
Strategic Support: Assist with researching market trends and competitor landscapes to support the development of business strategies.
Communication & Reporting: Help prepare reports and visualizations to communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Process & Best Practices: Contribute to the documentation of process & best practices to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Assist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) metrics.
You Have:
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an eagerness to apply skills in data analysis and market research.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate information clearly and concisely.
Strategic Thinking: An ability to think strategically and identify opportunities.
Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.
Technical Skills: Knowledge or willingness to learn relevant software and tools, such as data analysis software (e.g., PowerBI, Google Analytics / Looker Studio). Basic knowledge of programming languages like Python or SQL is a plus.
Language Skills: As a global company, fluency in multiple languages is always a plus.
Program Eligibility:
Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program
Graduating in Dec 2027 – July 2029 (U.S.)
