Role Overview
As a Product Intern, you'll get hands-on ownership of a real feature or research problem on a platform team, working closely with a PM mentor to translate it from idea to shipped (or demoed) outcome. This internship pushes you beyond typical intern scope: you'll scope your own problem, make trade-off calls, and build the technical and communication fluency early-career PMs need, with mentorship and guardrails from senior platform PMs.
This role is based out of our Mountain View, CA office, and requires full-time in-office attendance.
Responsibilities
- Feature Ownership: Take a defined problem area and turn it into a scoped proposal, prototype, or shipped feature, with mentorship from your PM lead.
- Roadmap Support: Break roadmap priorities down into concrete requirements; track and report on execution against them.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Work directly with engineering, design, and data partners to see how product decisions get made and translated into shipped work.
- AI-Native Building: Use modern AI coding tools to prototype, validate, or extend your own functional project, and bring that fluency into your internship work.
- Communication: Present your work, findings, and trade-offs to the team, the core skill of professional product management.
Qualifications
- Graduating in 2028 or beyond.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with modern AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar) through an active personal project.
- Present a personal AI project you are currently developing that is functional and executable (i.e., it runs successfully).
- The project should reflect sustained effort over time.
- Showcase meaningful functionality, while it does not need to be fully polished, it should solve a real problem or perform a clearly defined task.
- Basic familiarity with APIs and data concepts, with eagerness to build technical fluency quickly.
- Strong communicator, comfortable presenting work and taking feedback from a team.
- Self-directed: comfortable scoping and driving your own work with guidance rather than exhaustive specification.
What We Offer
- Intern Schedule: 12 weeks, 40 hours per week, onsite
- Competitive Compensation: $55/h–$65/h base hourly rate
