Summer Staff Redwood Camp Crew Member

Position Objective:

RWC Crew Member position works with the RWC Admin Coordinator and the Facilities Services Manager to assist MHA as a whole, providing maintenance, rejuvenation, and inventory for all RWC facilities to ensure clean and aesthetically pleasing facilities that enhance rather than distract from the program in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values.

General Qualifications:

The Redwood Camp (“RWC”) Crew Member is a Ministerial position. Ministerial staff render their work, stewardship, relationships and behavior as evidence of being followers of Jesus Christ while embracing and affirming Mount Hermon Association, Inc.’s (“MHA”) mission, vision and beliefs. They are responsible for defining, cultivating and leading MHA’s Christian community, conference programs, and retreats.

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Work with Facilities Services staff to maintain clean and sanitary facilities.
• Assist in the cleaning of all RWC facilities.
• Provide maintenance of RWC grounds.
• Assist with special projects and tasks as provided.
• Inform Facilities Services Manager regarding necessary repairs as well as maintaining inventory and reporting facility equipment and repair needs.
• Assist with program responsibilities like leading activities, recreation, crafts and skits, when Crew duties are not required (typical Crew duties are Sundays-Fridays 5-10pm).
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
