Sunnies Inc. | Full Stack Developer

The Full Stack Developer is responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining web application components that support business operations. This role collaborates with teams to understand project requirements and develop scalable web applications. The involves designing and maintaining back-end components with Next.js, ensuring seamless integration with front-end, and optimizing application performance.

YOUR OVERALL MISSION & DAY-TO-DAY

Application Development

• Develop and maintain application features, components, and enhancements based on technical requirements and project specifications.
• Build front-end interfaces, back-end services, APIs, and database-related components under established development standards.
• Translate functional requirements into working software solutions that support business needs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following team development practices.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application issues.
• Independently develop end-to-end application features across front-end and back-end components
• Write reusable, maintainable code, conduct peer reviews, and ensure solutions meet functional and quality requirements.
• Independently use AI-assisted development tools to write, test, and debug code faster, and build automation features into applications.
• Independently review and validate all AI-assisted or automated output against team quality standards before finalizing it.

Front-End Development

• Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using approved front-end technologies and frameworks.
• Implement user interface components based on designs and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure accurate implementation of user experiences.
• Maintain front-end code quality and documentation for owned components.
• Support improvements to application usability, performance, and functionality.

Back-End Development and System Integration

• Develop and maintain backend components, APIs, and application logic using approved technologies (e.g., Next.js, Node.js, or equivalent frameworks).
• Support database development, including creating queries, maintaining data structures, and implementing application data flows.
• Assist in integrating applications with internal systems and third-party services.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of backend services and integrations.
• Ensure developed components follow the security and performance requirements.
• Develop and maintain system integrations, APIs, and database interactions.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure reliable data flow across applications and platforms.

Testing and Code Quality

• Perform unit testing, debugging, and validation of developed features before deployment.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior developers.
• Follow established coding standards, version control practices, and development workflows.
• Identify and report bugs, technical issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain documentation for developed components, configurations, and technical processes.
• Conduct comprehensive testing, identify performance and security issues, optimize application quality, and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.

YOUR TALENT

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Expertise in one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, etc.).
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with back-end development and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Django, Flask, etc.), including Next.js for back-end components.
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience working with UI frameworks and collaborating with designers.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Understanding of web security principles.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
