We are looking for Superintendent to join our team! As a Superintendent, you will lead day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects, partnering closely with the Project Manager and project team to deliver safe, high-quality work on schedule. You will oversee subcontractors, site logistics, scheduling, quality, and field coordination while creating a collaborative and accountable job-site environment.
Job Responsibilities
Scheduling & Project Planning
- Maintain and update the project CPM schedule in partnership with the Project Manager.
- Plan and coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor activities to meet project milestones.
- Identify schedule risks and develop recovery or mitigation plans as needed.
- Ensure schedule updates appropriately capture project progress, delays, and contract requirements.
Site Management
- Serve as Haselden’s field leader and primary representative on the jobsite, overseeing day-to-day construction activities and field coordination.
- Manage subcontractors, field personnel, logistics, and sequencing to support safe, efficient project execution.
- Lead subcontractor coordination meetings, Plan of the Day activities, and participate in owner and project meetings.
- Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure work is completed in accordance with project requirements.
- Coordinate procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and tools to support the project schedule.
- Complete required field documentation and daily reports in Procore.
Safety, Quality & Risk Management
- Lead Haselden’s safety program on the jobsite and promote a strong culture of safety and accountability.
- Conduct required safety meetings, inspections, Personal Risk Assessments (PRAs), and stormwater inspections.
- Identify field, schedule, quality, and constructability risks and communicate issues to the project team.
- Lead project QA/QC activities and ensure installed work meets plans, specifications, and Haselden quality standards.
- Investigate and document jobsite incidents in accordance with company procedures.
- Monitor production and performance of Haselden Self Perform work, when applicable.
Team Development
- Establish clear responsibilities and expectations for field team members.
- Coach, develop, and provide feedback to Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and other team members.
- Support performance management and development of direct reports.
- Maintain a collaborative, accountable, and supportive jobsite environment.
- Promote Haselden’s culture and lead consistently with company values.
Job Qualifications
- 7–10 years of progressive commercial construction field experience with a general contractor.
- Strong experience in project scheduling, field coordination, safety, QA/QC, and subcontractor management.
- In-depth knowledge of construction means and methods, building materials, plans, specifications, and construction sequencing.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, schedules, and contract documents.
- Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Procore and construction technology such as Bluebeam, Revit, or Navisworks is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant industry experience will be considered.
- Experience with commercial construction, renovations, and a variety of building types is preferred.
- Ability to lead defined areas, trades, or scopes on larger projects under the direction of a Senior Superintendent, when applicable.
- Ability to travel regionally and drive during the course of work as project needs require.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work primarily in active construction-site environments.
- Ability to regularly walk project sites, including stairs, ladders, uneven surfaces, and varying elevations.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb as required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
- Ability to work around construction noise, dust, equipment, changing temperatures, and weather conditions.
- Ability to regularly access and inspect active areas of construction.

Salary
The salary range for this position is $110,000–$150,000 per year.
