Superintendent

TFE Properties, LLC is recruiting for an On-site Apartment Maintenance Superintendent with prior experience for our community located in the new Summit location in Ocean County, New Jersey. The candidate must be well organized, self-motivated and adaptable to changing situations. Must be able to perform all types of maintenance duties for our residents. Valid driver license required, basic computer skills a plus. This position does not require applicant to live on-site, however, must live within proximity for emergency service requests. Full-time position that requires weekends and must be flexible with the work week.

Responsibilities include:

· Performing plumbing, electrical, appliance and mechanical maintenance.

· Fulfill work orders in maintaining the exterior and all common areas of the property (Lighting, walkways, fitness centers, storage, parking, landscaping, etc.)

· Prepare units for move-in, including but not limited to, punch-out lists, painting, cleaning, and any other necessary work.

· Must be able to cover after hours and emergency calls.

· Maintain a courteous and helpful attitude to tenants, potential tenants, and vendors.

· Respond to tenant’s requests in a prompt and courteous manner.

· Understand and work within the guidelines of all federal and state laws regarding Fair Housing and multi-family housing, OSHA, Workers Compensation, and Federal Wage and Hour Act.

Compensation and Benefits include:

· This position offers a starting rate that ranges from $25 to $30 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
