Supervisor 2, Warehousing

Summary

Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory management, staff supervision, and safety compliance in a manufacturing/logistics environment.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

1) Warehouse Operations
- Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of warehouse goods
- Ensure effective, safe operations by implementing procedures and policies
- All stock issues are resolved and feedback to person involved
- Control age sensitive materials to limit goods expired date
- Conduct cycle counts and stock counts as procedure defined
- Ensure the health, safety, cleanliness and security at the working environment
2) Human Resources and Leadership
- Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or
exceeded
- Leading warehouse improvement, responsible for the ongoing development
- Organize the recruitment and training of staff as well as monitoring performance and progress
- Establish all operational policies for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of goods and customer orders as well as the reclamation of damaged merchandise.
- Guide contracted staffs to follow EHS Requirement
3) Inventory Management
- Maintain full stock transparency & accountability
- Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate to ensure the stock figure tally with Finance
- Oversee warehouse activities to ensure the efficient utilization of facilities for storing and distributing raw material and finished goods inventories
- Maintain and manage documents in compliant with ISO.
4) Others

- Cooperate mutually among related department in charges to support production activities
- Maintain a positive attitude and cooperative in working with other departments
- Responsible for timely and consistent
- Communication with department terms

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree. Specialisation in Supply Chain, Logistics is strongly preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in warehouse operations with experience in using ERP software (Glovia preferred) with 1-2 years of working experience as WH Supervisor or relevant positions
  • Good command of computer skill (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team based environment
  • Good at English Communication & writing skills
