Job Summary

The Cleaning Company Supervisor leads daily cleaning operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery, team performance optimization, and compliance with safety and client standards. You will coordinate between staff, management, and clients to drive service excellence across assigned sites.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise cleaning staff to align tasks with site needs and individual strengths
• Monitor staff attendance and address performance or conduct issues promptly to maintain team efficiency
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify cleaning meets agreed specifications, hygiene standards, and safety regulations
• Identify and correct substandard work immediately and implement continuous improvement measures
• Manage inventory of cleaning tools, chemicals, and equipment by placing orders, checking stock levels, and ensuring safe storage and use
• Communicate regularly with clients to understand requirements, resolve complaints, and confirm service satisfaction
• Provide timely updates to company management on operational progress, issues, and client feedback
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations by ensuring staff use protective gear correctly and follow proper chemical handling procedures
• Report accidents or hazards immediately to maintain a safe working environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior experience in cleaning services or supervisory roles to support effective team leadership and operational management
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to lead and motivate teams effectively
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance and quality
• Physical fitness and reliability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required
