Jobs and Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of food items and ensure production areas are kept clean and tidy
Check ingredients and food products for quality and package food items ready for sale
Daily assistance is required to help workers carry 20- 30 kg of goods
Store all food properly and sanitize and clean workstations and utensils when needed
Meet daily production targets and deadlines while maintaining consistent product quality
Responsible for liaising between management and employees.
Monitor and report job performance to management on a daily basis.
Establish business knowledge and awareness of shared company goals.
Provide staff with guidance and assistance.
Be responsible for the daily operation management of the university canteen, fully cooperate with school catering management regulations, ensure all catering work complies with campus food safety and hygiene standards, and guarantee safe and orderly dining for teachers and students.
Arrange staff posts reasonably according to university dining peak periods (morning, noon and evening rush hours), optimize service processes, reduce queuing time, and improve teachers' and students' dining experience.
Supervise the standardized production of campus meals, strictly control the taste, portion, temperature, and diversification of student meals, ensure the meals are fresh, nutritious, and hygienic, and meet the daily dining needs of teachers and students.
Regularly inspect the canteen dining area, kitchen processing area, storage room, and other regional hygiene, check the disinfection record of tableware and kitchen equipment; and eliminate food safety hazards in time.
Accept daily inspection and supervision from the school logistics management department, timely rectify existing problems, and complete all campus catering work reports and record forms as required.
Requirements
At least 3- 5 years of relevant work experience
Able to move objects weighing 20- 30 kg
Ready to work any shift
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Physical endurance to stand for an entire shift
Self-motivated and self-directed
Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks
Able to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and PH
Familiarity with university canteen operation management and campus food safety management regulations is preferred
Have good service awareness, able to patiently communicate and respond to teachers' and students' dining needs and feedback
Able to adapt to the working rhythm of campus canteen peak dining periods and flexible work arrangement during school terms
