Supervisor
Functions:
1. Supervise, prioritize, and delegate work assignments to test and assembly technicians.
2. Coordinate to concerned departments the parts found with problem during final test that might affect delivery commitment dates using appropriate communication tools and encoding detected problem using QID.
3. Conduct regular line patrol to ensure the test and the processing are done in accordance with the established rules and procedures.
4. Ensure safeness and cleanliness of the work site.
5. Maintain production target delivery schedules and quality of work.
6. Report to Operations Managers progress report.
7. Arranges manpower assignments to cope with absences and plans training for multi-skill level for all team members.
8. Select and assist in selection of personnel for employment, promotion, transfer, or dismissal.
9. Responsible for departmental record keeping.
10. Participate in preparing performance appraisals.
11. Counterchecks availability of materials for assembly necessary action if ever shortage is foreseen.
12. Makes it sure that all company policies are being followed.
Qualifications
Education: B.S. in Electronics or Mechanical engineering preferred, other engineering discipline, or closely related technical field of study will be considered.
Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in mechanical design or 5 years’ experience supporting test handlers and device kits.
Skills/Technical Requirements:
Knowledge of semiconductor packages and back-end test production operations.
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Must have the ability to develop presentations to provide direction for test team, work tracking spreadsheets, email communication with kit organization and represent in customer or internal meetings
Must have strong process ownership and project management skills to work effectively with other departments in a team environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) is required.
