Supervisor, Electrical

  • Supervise and coordinate HVAC electrical installation activities at the project site.
  • Manage electrical foremen, electricians, and helpers to ensure safe and efficient execution of work.
  • Plan daily work activities, allocate manpower, and ensure availability of required tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Monitor progress of HVAC electrical works and ensure completion as per project schedule.
  • Supervise electrical installation works for AHUs, FCUs, FAHUs, exhaust fans, ventilation systems, chillers, pumps, package units, and other HVAC equipment.
  • Ensure proper installation of power cables, control cables, cable trays, conduits, isolators, junction boxes, starters, VFDs, and control panels.
  • Coordinate with HVAC, BMS, commissioning, and other disciplines for equipment integration and functional testing.
  • Monitor cable pulling, glanding, termination, insulation testing, continuity testing, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC personnel for inspections, documentation, and closure of inspection comments.
  • Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including equipment energization, functional testing, and system troubleshooting.
  • Verify material availability and ensure proper utilization of electrical materials and consumables.
  • Review daily progress reports, manpower deployment, and work completion status.
  • Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures, client safety requirements, and permit-to-work systems.
  • Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and regular site inspections to maintain safe working conditions.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain an organized work environment.
  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical installation and supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC electrical systems and industrial electrical installations.
  • Knowledge of AHU, FCU, chiller, pump, fan, and ventilation system electrical connections.
    • Willingness to work in remote locations as required.
    • Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
    • Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
    • Effective communication skills.
