Supervisor, Facilities Project
Purpose of the job
Acts as a strategic partner to senior management to ensure facilities projects and operations comply with HSE, human rights, environmental, and corporate governance standards.
Ensure the completion of required projects on time, within budget, and specification that meets business needs.
Facilities projects & delivery
- Plan, execute, and monitor facilities and infrastructure projects in accordance with contractual scope, schedule, and approved budgets.
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle including scope verification, cost control, variation management, and final handover to operations and support teams.
- Serve as the single point of contact between organization, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.
- Coordinate between the internal departments and third-party contractors to secure resources and ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Identify project risks, propose corrective and preventive actions, and ensure adherence to project plans and roadmaps.
HSE, risk & compliance (duty of vigilance alignment)
- Define and implement HSE and Duty of Vigilance scope for facilities and projects, ensuring alignment with corporate, group, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses covering health & safety, environmental, and operational risks, and implement mitigation measures.
- Develop and maintain risk heat maps and monitoring tools to track vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.
- Ensure full audit readiness, providing documentation, reports, and evidence to meet internal and external audit standards.
- Perform annual reviews of HSE and vigilance action plans to drive continuous improvement.
Governance, reporting & stakeholder management
- Lead cross-functional meetings to align facilities, HSE, procurement, HR, and operations on project and compliance objectives.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams, senior management, and external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of vigilance and HSE requirements.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level reports, KPIs, and performance updates related to projects, safety, and compliance.
- Ensure KPIs and performance indicators are tracked, reported, and aligned with organizational and group expectations.
Job specification
Education
BSc. in Engineering, preferably Architecture or Civil.
Experience
Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience with a strong focus on GSM industry outdoor activities, retail requirements, and/or commercial stores.
Experience in a multinational or matrixed environment is preferred.
Preferably to have technical knowledge and experience and understanding of health & safety standards, such as NFPA and ISO; safety certifications like NEBOSH.
