Supervisor, Fracturing And Completion Support
Job purpose
To oversee all aspects of frac water sourcing, treatment, and transfer across the field, as well as sand management and civil engineering tasks associated with hydraulic fracturing operations. This includes the construction of water pits, development of access roads, and execution of civil works for frac site preparation. The role emphasizes ensuring operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with ADNOC's high standards and regulatory requirements.
Key accountabilities
Job specific:
- Plan the drilling and completion of shallow wells and coordinate sourcing from alternative water sources such as deep wells, refinery treated water, and seawater.
- Supervise water H2S treatment operations to ensure treated water meets required quality KPIs and volume targets for frac operations.
- Supervise water recycling treatments to ensure recycled water meets required quality KPIs.
- Supervise the installation and the operation of the electrical submersible pumps, manage fuel logistics and ensure pumps operate within a safe operating envelope.
- Oversee water transfer logistics from multiple sources to frac sites, ensuring continuous and uninterrupted supply.
- Coordinate with all vendors, production operations teams, technical teams, and other stakeholders to align water and sand sourcing and usage plans.
- Forecast water production schedules and manage storage caravans for water equipment and chemicals to support operational readiness.
- Coordinate with suppliers and security stakeholders (e.g., CICPA, ADNOC Security) to ensure timely and secure delivery of proppant to frac sites.
- Supervise on-site sand storage, handling, and inventory control, ensuring efficient use and minimal downtime or spillage.
- Monitor sand transfer systems (e.g., conveyors, blowers) and enforce safe handling practices to ensure operational continuity.
- Oversee civil works including construction of frac sites, access roads, and water pits, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, QA/QC standards, and ADNOC specifications.
- Ensure safe and timely movement of heavy equipment by maintaining access roads and supervising subcontractor performance against schedule.

- Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
- Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.

- Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practice.
- Participate in emergency response duties as a team member.
- Be familiar with the ADNOC HSE Recognition and Accountability Framework requirements. Comply with all applicable HSE requirements at all times. Exercise the STOP Work Authority bestowed if any unsafe act or situation puts you or your colleagues at risk.
Reports
- Provide inputs to prepare section MIS and progress reports for company management.

Internal: Regular contacts with assets and functions.
External:
- Communicate with security stakeholders (e.g., CICPA, ADNOC Security) to ensure timely material logistics to the frac sites.
Qualifications, experience, knowledge & skills
Minimum qualification
- Technical diploma or degree in engineering or related field.
Minimum experience & knowledge & skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in oil & gas field operations.
- Experience with electrical submersible pumps and transfer pumps is highly desired.
