Job Overview
As a Janitorial Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall maintenance of commercial properties. You will lead and manage a team of janitorial staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of janitorial staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Oversee and ensure the proper execution of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that cleaning protocols are being followed and the facility is maintained to the highest standards.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and address any concerns or requests.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper storage and usage.
- Train new staff members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
- Respond promptly to emergencies or urgent cleaning situations as they arise.
- Provide clear communication to both staff and management regarding updates, issues, and performance feedback.
- Monitor and enforce safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Other tasks and projects requested by the customer and/or the Advanced team.
