SUPERVISOR
Job Description
Supervise and coordinate daily production activities for plastic products, polythene films, bags, and related materials.
Monitor production schedules, manpower allocation, and machine operations to ensure production targets are achieved.
Oversee production workers and ensure that work is carried out according to established procedures and safety standards.
Monitor product quality and ensure that finished products meet the required specifications and quality standards.
Coordinate with management and relevant departments on production planning, material requirements, and delivery schedules.
Identify production issues, troubleshoot operational problems, and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime and wastage.
Monitor the usage of raw materials and production resources to improve efficiency and control operating costs.
Maintain production records, prepare daily production reports, and report operational issues to management.
Ensure that production equipment and the workplace are properly maintained, clean, and safe.
Train and guide production workers on operating procedures, product quality requirements, and workplace safety.
Job Requirements
Relevant experience in plastic products manufacturing, polythene production, or a similar manufacturing environment.
Experience in supervising production workers and coordinating daily manufacturing operations.
Knowledge of production planning, quality control, manufacturing processes, and workplace safety procedures.
Ability to monitor production performance, identify operational issues, and implement process improvements.
Good organisational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prepare production reports and maintain accurate operational records.
Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with management and production teams.
