Supervisor Machining
Summary
Oversee daily machining operations, supervise CNC teams, and enforce safety/quality standards to meet aerospace production goals.
The Machining Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily operations of the machining department to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives are achieved. This position will supervise CNC machinists and fabricators while driving continuous improvement, maintaining production schedules, and ensuring compliance with quality standards
This position will play a critical role in the production process and contribute to the team’s overall performance in Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Attitude (QCDSA).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the machining department.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company safety policies.
- Monitor production schedules and prioritize work to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality procedures.
- Review machine utilization, efficiency, scrap, and downtime to improve overall performance.
- Coordinate with Programming, Tooling, and Quality to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Manage employee attendance, performance, disciplinary actions, and training.
- Conduct daily production meetings and communicate departmental goals and priorities.
- Ensure tooling, fixtures, and raw materials are available to support production.
- Support new product introductions and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate production and labor reporting within the ERP system.
- Promote lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with budgeting, staffing, and capital equipment planning.
