SUPERVISOR
The Cleaning Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily cleaning operations across assigned client sites. The role involves managing cleaning teams, planning manpower deployment, monitoring service quality, ensuring compliance with company procedures and workplace safety requirements, and maintaining good relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of cleaning staff across assigned sites.
- Prepare staff deployment, duty schedules and manpower arrangements.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality and work performance.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure cleaning standards and client requirements are met.
- Allocate cleaning tasks and provide instructions to cleaning staff.
- Train and guide staff on proper cleaning procedures, equipment usage and workplace safety.
- Monitor the proper use, storage and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Maintain records of attendance, site inspections, cleaning schedules and operational reports.
- Handle operational issues and coordinate with the Operations Manager for solutions.
- Communicate with clients regarding cleaning schedules, service requirements and operational matters.
- Investigate and follow up on client complaints and service-quality issues.
- Ensure staff follow company SOPs, workplace safety procedures and site-specific requirements.
- Monitor manpower requirements and recommend additional resources when necessary.
- Coordinate staff replacement and deployment in cases of absence or emergency.
- Assist management in implementing new cleaning contracts and site mobilisation.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and operational briefings where required.
- Monitor productivity and recommend improvements to reduce wastage and improve efficiency.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational reports for management.
- Perform other reasonable operational duties assigned by management.
