About the Role

Supervising a team of professionals responsible for precertification of selected services, concurrent review, and retrospective review.

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of policy and quality improvement relating to precertification and utilization management
• Responsible as a subject matter expert for policy, procedure, and solution changes

Requirements

• Supervises a team responsible for reviewing cases; responsibilities include all HR issues
• Supervises day-to-day operations of work assignments
• Works with Service Delivery to manage client communication for day-to-day operations
• Be able to perform all activities within the scope of Federal and State Laws and programs
• Be a Registered Nurse with unrestricted license in the State of Missouri and multi-state licensure when applicable
• Have acute care experience in a utilization review/case management setting
• Have Supervisory experience in a medical setting, utilization management, disease or case management
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
