What you’ll do
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and evaluate daily work performance for buyers and procurement specialists.
- ERP & Data Management: Oversee and execute procurement lifecycles within SAP, ensuring accurate data entry, material masters, and transaction tracking of received items.
- Process Development: Design, implement, and streamline standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve procurement cycle times and efficiency.
- Collaboration & Documentation: Utilize SAP and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) to create real-time tracking dashboards, collaborate on supplier proposals, and present procurement metrics to leadership.
- Vendor Management: Maintain vendor relations and accountability on pricing and lead times for materials purchased regarding telecom infrastructure, towers, and software.
- Sourcing & Purchasing: Oversee requests for purchase orders for network components, consumable materials, and on-time warehouse/field delivery.
- Compliance & Inventory: Ensure purchases follow company policies, project budgets, and contractual compliance standards.
What you’ll need
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration preferred.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of strategic sourcing or purchasing experience, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with telecom hardware, fiber-optic networks, or infrastructure.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced, hands-on experience using SAP for enterprise resource planning and procurement workflows.
- Productivity Tools: High proficiency in Google Workspace applications for cloud-based team collaboration and data organization.
- Core Competencies: Success in supplier relations management, analytical problem-solving, and strong communication skills.
