Opening in Fall 2026, Avivo Village Central Minnesota is bringing Avivo's innovative approach to ending homelessness to St. Cloud.
As the Supervisor, Shelter Operations, you will play a key leadership role in launching and shaping a brand-new program from the ground up. This is an opportunity to build culture, support staff development, and help create a safe, welcoming environment where residents can focus on wellness, stability, and permanent housing.
You will provide daily operational leadership within a 24-hour shelter environment while supervising and developing a team of approximately 6-15 Resident Advocates. Founding Leadership Opportunity: Help establish the culture, operations, and participant experience of Avivo Village Central Minnesota from day one.
Schedule Requirement: This position is scheduled to work Wednesday through Sunday from 2:00 PM-10:30 PM. Applicants must be able to work this schedule.

What You'll Do
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of approximately 6-15 Resident Advocates across a 24/7 shelter operation
- Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of shelter operations, staffing, and participant services
- Foster a safe, welcoming, and person-centered environment for residents and staff
- Support admissions, participant transitions, intake activities, and daily shelter operations
- Respond to complex participant situations, emergencies, and crisis events using trauma-informed approaches
- Partner with Team Leads and staff to ensure high-quality services and operational consistency across shifts
- Monitor documentation, reporting, compliance requirements, and program outcomes
- Build collaborative relationships with internal teams, community partners, and service providers
- Support staff development through onboarding, coaching, performance management, and ongoing training
- Advance Housing First, Wellness & Safety, Trauma-Informed Care, and culturally responsive service delivery throughout the program
