GENERAL SUMMARY

The Social Services Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations of the Social Services Department, ensuring compliance across departments with workflows, audits, referrals, and resources processes. Assist in developing, updating, and implementing policies, onboarding processes, interns and apprenticeship needs, and applications while reviewing procedures that govern the operations of the department The Social Service Supervisor will develop and refine programs aimed at improving patient care, service delivery, and overall department efficiency. This role will collaborate with other leaders, medical providers, and administrative staff to ensure and enhance patient care and service delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Responsible for creating, evaluating, leading, and supervising role-specific duties for Social Services department staff

· Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI); gather and report CQI data to the appropriate personnel.

· Support quality and fiscal goals for the department and facility.

· Assist in the process of annual budgets within the area of responsibility; review the budget with the immediate supervisor and group practice manager; monitor budgetary compliance regularly to forecast future problems; assist in developing strategies to address fiscal issues.

· Assist in crafting departmental policies and procedures, and ensure they are followed, especially those related to patient care and safety.

· Build and maintain working relationships with a network of interdisciplinary teams within CGMHSA and the community.

· Participates in special projects to support the operations of the organization, and perform other duties assigned.
