The Supervisor, Stock leads product operations in support of the Visual Merchandising organization, with primary ownership of Mock Store execution, product flow, and inventory and logistics strategy. This role serves as a senior operational partner to Visual, Merchandising, Design, Sourcing, Photo Studio, Marketing, PR, B2B, and Store teams, ensuring operational readiness, product availability, and consistent execution across all major milestones.
This position is accountable for planning and execution of complex, high-visibility initiatives, balancing creative intent with operational requirements. The Senior Operations Manager, Product drives cross-functional alignment, assesses risk, makes informed trade-offs, and evolves processes to support business needs. The role provides leadership to a team of stock and inventory professionals and plays a key role in enabling scale, consistency, and executional excellence.
A day in the life as a Supervisor, Stock...
Oversee strategic movement of merchandise samples in-to and out-of the Corporate Office and Mock Store maximizing the available square footage.
Identify and implement process improvements
Develop a high-performing team through thoughtful team member development, effective and timely performance assessments and productive workflow processes.
Work with Merchandising to execute bi-annual inventory
Responsible for unloading, processing and maintaining all incoming and outgoing packages in alignment with company standards
Build, handle and wrap furniture samples and make recommendations for packaging, assembly, assembly instructions, and hardware improvements, as needed.
Lead the Merchandise aspect of the associate Sample Sale
Maintain awareness of in-development and current product information, intranet communications.
Support and model excellent service by exhibiting a positive attitude and enthusiasm toward the job and company to internal customers in all forms of communication.
Maintain an awareness of all loss prevention, security and safety following the guidelines provided by management or the Human Resources Department and/or as outlined in the Crate and Barrel/CB2 Associate Guide.

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
5+ years relevant experience in stock management, receiving and merchandising
Understanding of general office equipment, AS400, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Google Office Suite telephone/intercom system, copier, fax machine
Experience with stockroom equipment and tools such as SKU and tagger guns, small hand tools, ladders, step stools, hand truck, dolly, baler and pallet jack.
