Job Description:
Supervise and coordinate daily construction site activities to ensure work is carried out according to project plans, specifications and schedules.
Assign tasks to workers and subcontractors, monitor their performance and ensure work is completed on time.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers and other site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor construction progress and report any delays, site issues or manpower requirements to management.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality meets project requirements and standards.
Ensure all workers comply with workplace safety regulations and site safety procedures.
Monitor the usage of construction materials, tools and equipment to minimise wastage.
Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications to guide workers on site.
Maintain daily site records and prepare progress reports for management.
Identify and resolve routine site issues and coordinate with relevant parties when necessary.
Perform other construction-related supervisory duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Relevant experience in the construction industry.
Good knowledge of construction methods, site operations and safety practices.
Ability to supervise workers and coordinate construction activities.
Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
Good communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
Able to work on construction sites and meet project deadlines.
