Supervisory Agricultural Marketing Specialist (Regulatory)

In this position, you will serve as the Assistant Regional Director and share responsibility for administering the functions of the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act (PACA) and Produce Agency Act (PAA) in that area.

The duties may include, but are not limited to:

Assists in developing information and making recommendations for amendments to the laws and regulations that will promote orderly marketing of fruits and vegetables.

Recommends and participates in formulating policy programs and modifications that will assist in carrying out the functions of the Division.

Attends hearings to testify as an expert witness on contractual disputes.

Assists the Regional Director with directing, coordinating, controlling, and supervising the operational activities of the regional area.

Instructs the Agricultural Marketing Specialists on investigational trips concerning the conduct of highly complex licenser reparation, and disciplinary investigations.

Assists in managing resources within budget allocation.
