SUPERVISORY CIVIL ENGINEER

Please see Additional Information section below.*** You will serve as a SUPERVISORY CIVIL ENGINEER in the Planning, Design, and Construction Directorate ofNAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND MARIANAS. This position is also subject to a Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) and Non-Foreign Post Differential (NFPD) currently set at 11.88% and 13.12%, respectively. COLA and NFPD are subject to change without notice.

You will serve as Regional Technical Specialist, subject matter expert, and technical advisor for all engineering aspects of the Civil Engineering Program throughout the regional Command.

You will be responsible for a broad spectrum of planning, design, and construction projects.

You will actively supervise a technical staff comprised of civilians.

You will mentor employees in specific tasks, job techniques and processes, develop an active mentoring/coaching relationship with subordinates and maintain engineer coaching and implementation plans.

You will prepare and/or directsthe preparation of working drawings and specifications, and checking of construction drawings and specifications, and details of the civil features of work.

You will makes field investigations of existing facilities prior to or during preparation of preliminary plans, and make field trips for the purpose of studying deficiencies in the civil features at construction projects.
