SUPERVISORY COMPUTER SCIENTIST

You will support strategic planning by translating organizational goals into actionable engineering workforce initiatives, monitoring staffing needs, and recommending solutions that strengthen mission delivery and long term program success.

You will advise, coach, and mentor engineering professionals while evaluating performance, identifying training needs, and promoting continuous growth that improves individual contributions and strengthens overall team effectiveness.

You will assess program documentation and work products to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, provide informed recommendations, and support leadership with objective evaluations and improvement strategies.

You will oversee employee assignments, establish priorities, evaluate completed work, resolve workplace concerns, and guide staff through constructive feedback while maintaining accountability, fairness, and high performance standards.

You will develop position descriptions, improve operating procedures, conduct hiring activities, recommend qualified candidates, and implement workforce improvements that enhance organizational performance and service quality.

You will contribute to improving organizational policies and business processes, prepare reports and presentations for leadership, and recommend practical changes that increase efficiency, strengthen operations, and support mission objectives.
