SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a Supervisory Contract Specialist in the Regional Contracts Department of NAVSUP FLC SD GF.

You will serve as a Division Director, a warranted Contracting Officer with unlimited authority to sign contracts of all types.

You will be responsible for providing full contract support to fleet and shore activities in the FLCSD area of responsibility.

You will work very closely with each employee of the team and in face-to-face meetings with customer activity representatives in planning, developing, and establishing the contractual strategy for each major acquisition.

You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates; set immediate priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.

You will establish performance standards and evaluate work performance of subordinates.

You will interview candidates for positions and make recommendation for appointment, promotion, or reassignment to such positions.

You will responsible for planning, managing, and executing a comprehensions contracting and acquisition program to meet the needs of customer activities.
