Supervisory Electronics Engineer (Solutions Architect)
Summary
Leads a cross-functional team of civilians, military, and contractors managing architecture and engineering branch operations, communications equipment, and command and control systems for SECWAR at the Pentagon.
This position is located in Defense Information Systems Agency, SECRETARY OF WAR COMMUNICATIONS.
Provides advice and counsel for all issues pertaining to planning, evaluating, managing, and executing of the Architecture and Engineering branch, including the people, and infrastructure used by various SECWAR customers.
Supervises, coordinates, and prioritizes the work of a cross-functional team consisting of civilians, military, and contractors and responsible for day-to-day technical support to SECWAR and immediate office.
Conducts regular meetings, audits, steering boards, configuration management processes, design reviews, and attends conference to maintain understanding of emerging technologies that are needed to address SECWAR's current and future mission needs.
Develops, executes, and monitors funding requirements for systems supporting the Engineering Branch operations at local and remote sites.
Serves as a DoW Subject-Matter Expert (SME) on all communications equipment and command and control systems used to support the SecWar, DepSecWar and their Immediate Offices.
