About the Position: Serves as Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist at Sardis Lake, with the responsibility for the operation and maintenance program for a major flood control/water resource development project with numerous developed public use areas ranging from highly complex sophisticated systems and facilities to more primitive remote areas.

Coordinate operations and work programs internally with other lake field office elements, and externally with Project Resources Management Branch and other District Office elements, along with local, state, and other Federal Agencies.

Supervise General and Federal Wage Schedule employees.

Manage the operation and maintenance program for the field office.

Prepare and review technical and general specifications for contracting requirements for the Branch.

Develop Operations and Maintenance budget requirements for inclusion in the project monetary program, and prepare schedules of manpower and equipment required to accomplish plans within allowed time and monetary allotments.

Prepare budget estimates for inclusion in the annual budget development process.

Develop long range Operations and Maintenance plans, immediate emergency response plans, manpower, equipment and work priority scheduling.
