Supervisory Financial Program Administrator

The Supervisory Financial Program Administrator serves as the Director for Corporate Travel and Charge Card Service (CTCCS) within the Financial Services Center (FSC), Office of Management (OM), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing enterprise travel and charge card financial programs. This position can be located in either Austin, TX or Washington, DC.

***THIS IS NOT A VIRTUAL POSITION, YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN OR BE WILLING TO RELOCATE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE OF THE DUTY LOCATION*** This position is responsible for interpreting Federal and VA policies, regulations, and laws, developing or implementing policies, defining administrative and financial requirements, managing the entrepreneurial activities under the VA Franchise Fund, and providing advice to the FSC Senior Executives. The Supervisory Financial Program Administrator coordinates with the FSC Executive Director (SES), FSC Deputy Director (SES), Chief Management Officer, as well as other FSC Service Directors and senior managers both internal and external to FSC in directing strategic planning, performance measurements, business developments and developing new solutions. Directs enterprise financial programs for the VA, including travel, charge card, and related financial operations, ensuring effective program execution and compliance with applicable policies and regulations Provides strategic leadership and oversight of financial program operations, including financial planning, reporting, internal controls, and program performance evaluation Serves as a senior advisor to leadership on financial program policies, regulations, and operational issues, providing guidance and recommendations to support program effectiveness and compliance Develops, interprets, and implements financial policies, procedures, and program operations to ensure consistent program administration across the organization Exercises supervisory authority through subordinate supervisors responsible for program operations, including establishing priorities and evaluating program performance Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Recruitment & Relocation Incentives: Not authorized Critical Skills Incentive (CSI): Not approved Telework: Ad hoc telework (situational telework) available as determined by the agency policy.
