Supervises daily fire department operations, emergency response, and safety inspections at a U.S. Army installation.
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Directs daily fire department operations and emergency response activities.
Issues operational guidance and ensures compliance with fire department procedures.
Oversees fire safety inspections and evaluates fire protection systems across the installation
Leads personnel management activities, including staffing, performance managements, and employee development.
Serves as Deputy Fire Chief and assumes command during Fire Chief’s absence.
