SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER/ARCHITECT (PDC BRANCH HEAD - LARGE ECH IV)

Summary

Leads a government engineering branch overseeing naval construction projects, managing multi-disciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with architectural/engineering standards and regulations.

You will serve as the Planning, Design & Construction (PDC) Branch Head in the Resident Office in Charge of Construction (ROICC) Office Maine, of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Lant.

You will identify developmental or training needs of employees to maintain staff knowledge of architect-engineer procedures and regulations.

You will perform project management for multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution within construction standards.

You will evaluate engineering and architectural designs, drawings, specifications, and supporting documents to determine feasibility, compatibility with other work, and effectiveness in meeting requirements.

You will chair meetings and conferences to discuss architectural and engineering technical matters with management officials, headquarters, contractors, or staff members.

You will oversee the construction and engineering design of projects to ensure compliance with established architectural and engineering standards and contract requirements.
