Supervisory General Engineer

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located with the Directorate of Public Works at Presidio of Monterey, CA.

Serves as Chief, Engineer Division, providing a full range of real property and facilities design engineering, construction, maintenance, energy conservation, and related engineering services for the Garrison.

Evaluates effectiveness of subordinate operations through review and analysis of appropriate production reports and inspections.

Determines causes of unfavorable trends and variations.

Directs establishment and implementation of internal policies and operating procedures and control systems.
