SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER in the Expanded Planning Yard Division (Code 280), Office of the Chief Engineer (Code 240), Engineering and Planning Department (Code 200) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
You will resolve or obtain resolution of engineering or technical problems beyond the capacity of subordinates to problems requiring policy level decisions.
You will direct and coordinate the establishment of new policies, instructions, and procedures for the analysis, progress, and control of the workload of the division.
You will maintain a current detailed record of work status.
You will review and maintain surveillance over training needs and initiates programs for necessary on-the-job training requirements.
