SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER in the Process Engineering Branch (Code 223), Process Controls Division, Engineering and Planning Department (EPD) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

You will provide leadership and multi-disciplinary engineering expertise for process documentation and process improvement initiatives to all divisions in (EPD).

You will develop, maintain, and improve industrial processes, methods, and practices at the local and corporate levels.

You will determine requirements and develop specifications for support systems/equipment and tools as assigned.

You will assign work to subordinate personnel, ensure timely completion and quality of work.

You will participate in corporate and local facilities improvement programs on behalf of EPD.

You will provide leadership for shipyard work measurement systems, including developing, preparing, issuing, and maintaining engineered labor standards.
