Supervisory Health Insurance Specialist (Deputy Director)

This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Clinical Standards and Quality, Quality Measurement and Value-Based Incentives Group (QMVIG). As a Supervisory Health Insurance Specialist (Deputy Director), GS-0107-14, you will serve as an advisor providing strategic guidance on the development, implementation, and oversight of national quality measurement and improvement initiatives.

Develop and implements short- and long-range goals and work plans in collaboration with the Division Director.

Provide expert guidance to the DQM Director, and the Director, QMVIG, on the development, implementation, evaluation, and ongoing monitoring of clinical quality measures that impact beneficiary outcomes and address priority population.

Lead and facilitate collaboration with customers, stakeholders, public interest groups, and private sector partners to support the assessment, alignment, and dissemination of quality measures.

Prepares analyses, briefing materials, and recommendations for senior leadership on national reporting programs addressing quality, value-based purchasing, and public reporting.

Leads multidisciplinary teams responsible for quality measurement, public reporting, and quality improvement initiatives
