Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Branch Chief Recruitment)

This position is within CBP's National Recruitment Division and serves as a second-line supervisor for a major recruitment branch. The role supports the Director of National Recruitment by helping plan and direct CBP's strategic recruitment, hiring, and talent acquisition initiatives. This position starts at a salary of $125,776.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $163,514.00 (GS-14, Step 10) Major Duties: Establishing overall program and managerial and administrative objectives, developing long-range recruitment plans, and identifying required resources for the Branch. Serving as NRD's advocate, policy expert, and liaison to the CBP, HRM, and TMD on recruitment initiatives. Serving as the senior advisor on all strategy, policy, plans, and assessments of CBP's recruitment of branch personnel. Working directly with TMD, CBP Hiring Center to develop recruitment plans that support hiring plans and directly support program office hiring goals. Managing a branch within NRD, sets priorities and schedules for completion, including standards for quality and production.
