Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Classification)

About the Position: Serves as the Classification Branch Chief in a Civilian Human Resources Service Center (CHRSC). This announcement will be used to fill one position at various locations.

Providing expert technical guidance on complex, controversial, or unprecedented classification issues.

Planning and assigning work, setting priorities, evaluating performance, and overseeing the training and development of subordinate HR Specialists.

Serving as the subject matter expert on classification appeal procedures, compensation strategies, and the use of automated classification tools and systems

Developing and/or implementing command-wide human resources policies and programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness.

Analyzing and/or resolving the most complex and sensitive issues related to position classification, organizational design, and pay administration.
