SUPERVISORY INDUSTRIAL SPECIALIST (PROJECT MANAGER)
Summary
Supervises complex ship overhauls and modernization projects for the U.S. Navy, managing budgets, schedules, and contractor performance using spreadsheets and MS Office tools.
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INDUSTRIAL SPECIALIST (PROJECT MANAGER) in the WATERFRONT OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT (CODE 300) of SOUTHEAST REG MAINTENANCE CTR SERMC.
You will use expert experience to manage and supervise complex overhauls to US Naval ships for repair and modernization.
You will develop work packages for scheduled ship availabilities.
You will provide cost estimates to the Contracts Department to establish government position for fair and reasonable pricing.
You will develop and use spreadsheets to track and monitor expenditures
You will develop statements of work and reports using MS Word.
You will review and interpret production schedules to monitor contractor performance.
You will provide presentations to senior managers on job status.
You will be responsible for communicating/briefing project status at scheduled meetings.
