Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (Branch Chief)

The NQ-03 pay band is equivalent to the GS-13/14 grade levels. As a IT Specialist (Branch Chief), NQ-2210-03, you will: Lead information technology and cyber security oversight of prime contractor operations, including audits and assessments to evaluate efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with Federal Government, Department of Energy, Department of Defense, and Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program requirements. Plan, develop, and manage the annual budget for government information technology resources (unclassified and classified computing, telecommunications, peripherals, and information technology support) and ensure efficient execution of funds. Serve as the primary information technology point of contact to the Department of Energy for the Energy Information Technology Services unclassified network at Naval Reactors Laboratory Field Office locations, including developing and implementing related policies and procedures. Oversee Navy/Marine Corps Intranet services at prime contractor locations, including performing Information System Security Manager functions such as certification, accreditation, and account management. Coordinate and lead responses to Department of Energy Office of Inspector General and other audit activities related to information technology and cyber security, and manage subcontractor performance supporting unclassified and classified networks for Naval Reactors Laboratory Field Office and Naval Reactors Headquarters personnel.
