Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC/PLCYPLN)
This position is located in the Department of Justice (DOJ), National Fraud Enforcement Division ("Fraud Division"), Office of Information Technology (OIT). OIT fully supports the Division in the areas of Information Technology, Security, Communications, End-User Support, Application Services, and Program Management. OIT provides IT program services to Fraud Division personnel across 94 federal court districts on behalf of approximately 600 federal employees and contractors.
This position serves as the Deputy Director for IT Security to lead and enhance the Division's information security strategy. The incumbent will ensure that the IT security system complies with regulatory requirements, respond promptly to any potential computer system threats, and provide a hands-on approach when necessary. Manages IT security risks, keeps up to date with technological advancements, and implements new security measures to improve the IT systems of national and international importance. This position is accountable for safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the information systems and assets. The Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC/PLCYPLN) will perform duties such as: Advising senior leadership on workforce investment decisions. Establishing guidelines for employees and contractors. Providing informal feedback to employees. Evaluating employee performance.
